I can still tell you the name, address and birthdate of the sister whose cards I usually used to go to a (ahem) drinking establishment. We could do this because nobody's photos were on their driver's licenses! I also knew to say "New Year's Eve!" instead of December 31st.

Hearing new members and newer collegians refer to Forever Sigma (old NM ed program) as "oh the old new member program from a long time ago."

We only introduced the new program in 2005ish. Seriously.

Also, the fact that college freshmen and HS kids are throwing 90's-themed parties like my generation throws 80's parties.

Hearing my middle school aged cousin refer to Clueless/Buffy/etc. as "omg why do we have to watch these REALLY OLD movies?"

My cousin got in the car and sat in my back seat. He asked me what the twirly thing did.

It was the knob to roll the window down.

I work with an entire group of guys who never saw ET in the theater. Because they weren't even in utero when it came out.

We also had to explain why we called a co-worker Magnum the day he wore a Hawaiian shirt.

Oh well, at least I'm a friendly fossil.

Ok - I gotta ask (though I think I don't really want to know) - what do 90s themed parties entail? Do they all dress like Zach and Kelly and head down to The Max?

Something that just reminds me of my age is when filling out my birth date on online forms. I have to scroll...and scroll...to get to my birth year.

I look a bit younger than my age, and when people who think I am much younger find out my actual age, they say things like "you're THAT old?".

LOL. Yes, that's what they dress like. They make a mockery of Saved by the Bell, not knowing that I wanted to BE Lisa Turtle growing up. lol.

Right now, my back makes me feel old. I'm walking like an old lady. Between sitting in my car for 3 hours a day (to and from work), my crappy ass old bed that needs replaced (I have a Trump Serta mattress picked out, just need to wait a few payhecks before I can afford it), standing in horrible steel toed boots for 10 hours a day (got new ones yesterday though, hope they help) and needing to lose about 20-30 pounds.... my lower back is killing me.

I work at a kids camp, and was mocked last week for learning to read from a book and not a Baby Einstein dvd. The history and English student in me just died a little.

Ohhhh... not only am I too old to have learned to read with a Baby Einstein video (Dick and Jane, anyone?), but my kids are too old to have learned to read with Baby Einstein.

You should get Xtra-Tufs and put your own insoles in. I was so comfortable this summer, and they come in steel toe if you are required to be safe.

I feel old when college freshmen, and new fratties flirt with me and I feel like a creeper. This is exponentially worse when they are shirtless. I'm in a relationship but if I wasn't I still wouldn't be interested. I need someone who knows what a card catalog is and when we had discmans and no iPods.

OK, when did these Baby Einstein videos come out/become popular? I had never heard of them until my niece was born ( 6 years ago). I'm assuming that children who learned via BE must of been born in the 90s.

I learned to read with Little Golden Books; I used to love reading Poky Little Puppy to my grandmother and little cousins

Yes, they're more of a "born in the mid-90s" thing, and they're very popular with parents having kids now.

I'm pretty sure the first books I read were Richard Scary type ones and good ol Dr. Seuss.

Try a Sleep Number bed before the Serta. They are AMAZING!!! I'm having a similar problem.
