I guess they are trying to be safe since American artists like to flash their titties during primetime.
The only "post Nipplegate" halftime performance that I've enjoyed was 2007 (with Prince). I haven't had high hopes for the show since then.

My favorite halftime show is and forever will be (unless something better comes lol) Aerosmith and the celeb-filled "Walk This Way" performance.

I think I (probably you, too) was in my adolescent, TRL phase at that point. I salivated over Britney (arm-sock and all lol) during that performance.
