Second Invite
Friday September 11
She started with Grey- The girls she talked to were very nice. Tonight was philantrhopy day so they worked on a small project, she mentioned she got really wrapped up in working on the project and didn't talk much with the girls, noting the conversation was dull. She said they talked pretty much about nothing.
Next was yellow- She said this chapter is so awesome, she has some concerns about the physical house but she liked the girls a lot. She had a good time here and it will definatley be a top contender.
Beige- She apparenly disliked this house very much, that's all she gave me.
White- She found out a girl she knew from park district sports is a member here which she thought was pretty neat, she had a nice time here and liked this house a lot as well!
Finally Navy Blue- She got a tour of the house and met two girls, she had great one on one conversations with both of these girls and had a great time. She also had a great time here.
At the end of this night she had to chose three
She chose (order having no matter)
Yellow, Navy Blue, White

Third Invite
(Pref round)
She visited 3 house:
White
Yellow
Navy Blue
They spent one hour at each house, she mentioned that this hour seemed to fly by at all of the houses!
White- She enjoyed her time here, she mentioned that many girls were crying and she tends to cry when others cry, so she had a bit of a hard time holding back the tears. She thought they were amazing and liked them a lot.
Yellow- She had a great time at this house as well, she mentioned talking to the President and VP of recruitment, thinking they were very nice. She thought she might one day like to run for an e-board position. She also had a wonderful time at this house and liked them a lot.
Navy Blue- This was the last house she visited, she said she felt really good in this house, she had enjoyed the last two houses very much but she felt like things just clicked here. One thing that bothered her is that another PNM was being so rude to the girl who was preffing her, My sister thought this was so mean. Other than that she really liked this house a lot.
When it came time to rank them she was really torn, she knew she could be happy at any of them. She spent a lot of time debating it, and finally decided on the following order:
Navy Blue
Yellow
White
Next up... Bid day!!

Best wishes.
On a swerve / sidetrack, I'm glad to see a story with "could be happy at any of them" said after preference. That sounds like a good recruitment experience and an open mind. End sidetrack.

Their location IS awesome. I was a tad jealous that my own house wasn't closer to the quad, but right off the 22 bus route wasn't too bad. Congrats to your sister!

Congrats to your sister!! Color me crazy, but I had a funny feeling she was going to end up a sister of mine! That is a gorgeous chapter house, and I'm glad it was always among her top picks. I know several girls in our Iota chapter-all wonderful, genuinely kind people (many of whom I rec'd-hehehe). She has found a great home for herself!!!!
