Seeing Double! Fall 2009 Twin Recruitment
Well after being a newbie here and having my questions/concerns always answered so promptly I figured I owed you ladies (and guys) my recruitment story! Recruitment doesn't start for a few weeks but I get more nervous/scared by the day! I plan on revealing my school and chapter (that is if I get a bid) at the end of recruitment, even though a few have already guessed my school through PM's. Ohhh and I guess I should mention I'm a twin! LOL. My sister and I have decided to be open with each other throughout recruitment not to hinder one's choice but our philosophy is two heads are better then one! Right now we couldn't see ourselves being in different houses but agreed if we go through recruitment and one of us love XYZ and the other loves ABC then we wouldn't have a problem pledging separate chapters.
Ok so for a little background information...my sister and I are legacies to two chapters on campus which is exciting! During freshman recruitment each house was allowed a booth and I got very good vibes from almost all of the ladies I met! We are going to school out-of-state so we know basically no one! We're are definitely hoping to meet tons of girls throughout the week! I know 2 girls who go to my school but they are in 2 different chapters...both are very very sweet girls!
I grew up a ballet dancer spending between 20-30 hours in the studio so it's only fitting my code names would be connected to famous ballets! So here it goes....
Giselle
Paquita
La Bayadere
Don Quixote
Swan Lake
The Nutcracker
Romeo & Juliet
Coppelia
Any questions are welcome!

Good luck! I would also have to say be extra careful in what you right as you will be easy to recognize being twins from out of state.

Seriously, nervousnelly, this cannot be stressed enough. No one here would blame you if you both took notes and posted your story after Recruitment. And if you EVER worn sequined hose, keep it to yourself!
In the meantime, I've always loved The Firebird...
Best of luck!

So, nervousnelly, if you're wondering where all the "sequined hose" jokes are coming from, this is worth a look:

It's worth it just for the entertainment value, actually.
Good luck on your recruitment to you and your sister! I can't wait to read your story
