Smile which to choose...help!

hi! I posted here last fall because i decided to drop out of recruitment...but i did some COB events this spring. i went to events for 2 sororities, and just received a bid from one of them. i really like the other one, however, but i wont hear from them until saturday (it is currently wednesday). the girls in the sorority who extended a bid are super nice and i like them a lot...but should i just tell them that i want to wait a little bit until i commit to them? i think it would be worth it to wait until i hear from the other sorority...what do you think?? thank you so much in advance!!

I would talk to the Recruitment Chair (or whomever) of that chapter, because depeneding on the chapter, you may have to accept or decline within a certain time period (meaning you wouldn't have the opportunity to check out the other sorority unless you officially decline your bid).

EX: PNMs at certain sororities have to accept or decline the bid within 48 hours.

I would simply ask "When do you need to know my decision?" Just like when you are entertaining multiple job offers, it's in your best interest not to share that information. If they press for a reason, you can say something like "I want to make sure that I'm doing the right thing for me" or "I'd like to discuss this with my parents before I proceed" or something like that.
