Smile DZs in the Boston Area...

Hello my sisters!

As my graduation comes within a year of completion, I realized that I haven't been able to meet any of my sisters in my soon-to-be home of Boston, MA!! Boston, being over 800 miles from anything I know, is going to be a new and exciting place to be. I will be attending graduate school in Boston for a few years and I will be visiting the area many times before December. Getting a few new faces of sisters would be the best start!!!

With that said.. I would LOVE to meet more of my sisters from afar if any of you happen to be in the area! I need someones brain to pick about the area and some sisterly love

Feel FREE to message me if you are familiar with the area or even if you are currently living there! Wish the Lambda Phi chapter at Appalachian State good luck with our big fundraiser coming up for the Painted Turtle Camp!!!!

Forever in the Flame,
your sister from the Appalachian Mtns

Hey there,

Sorry for crashing, but I’ve spent most of my life living near Boston. It is a GREAT city. Outsiders will tell you that the people there are rude, but in all actuality, they’re some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. And if you say you like the Red Sox, you’re in

You have to go to the Union Oyster House.. the oldest restaurant in Boston and the oldest restaurant in continuous service in the U.S. The food is amazing.

Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market are great for shopping and eating. Go to the North End for the best Italian food.

Boston is very historic. Travel the freedom trail. Visit the Granary Burial Ground where Paul Revere and John Handcock are buried. Go to the ‘Cheers’ bar. If you’re going to take a tour of the city, do the Trolley Tours, which allow you to see the city at your own pace. A new trolley stops at each station every 15-30 minutes, allowing you to stop, see the sites, eat, shop, and then jump back on a trolley whenever you like in order to continue a tour of the city.

If you’d like to see the entire city at once, go to the Prudential Center and buy a ticket to the top of the building. The 360 degree panoramic view is beautiful.

And I know I’ve already mentioned the Red Sox, but seriously.. even if you’re not a huge fan, go to a game. It’s an amazing experience. If you can’t go to a game, walk around Yawkey Way by the field before the game starts (and stop in Boston Beer Works while you’re there!)

Boston is an awesome city, and I could go on for days about all of the things you can/should do there. Live it up and enjoy it while you're there
