Nonstick or Stainless Steel?
I've always been partial to non-stick, but I'm about to buy a new set and may make a switch. For the cooks: Do you prefer nonstick or stainless steel?

I have both, it depends on what I'm using it for. Most of my frying pans are nonstick, except the cast iron ones. My pots are stainless and nonstick.

Depends on what I'm cooking. I have non-stick, cast iron, copper and stainless.

Non-stick - small skillet for eggs.
Cast-iron - for cornbread
Stainless - saucepans, dutch oven, etc.

I have both. I prefer non-stick for a lot of things just for the sake of cleaning, but my All-Clad still looks brand new and cooks things more evenly.

I agree with those who said both, depending on what you're making. I found that to make my grandpa's fudge, I have to use stainless. My Tfal doesn't work well with it because it holds the heat too long. I prefer stainless for when the kids cook because they don't always remember to use the right utensils for the Tfal.

Thanks! I may look to mix it up. I've seen sets that include both. I was eyeing a Tfal set...
