Political ignorance

I am very, very sure that there is plenty of ignorance on both sides to go around, this is just the only clip of it that I have.
Wonder if we should consider some minimum standard of knowledge in order to vote??

A minimum standard would suppress the majority of this country... lol. So many Americans are ignorant in general. The clip you shared clearly shows that there are people that have no clue about whats going on in this country... forget foreign afairs.

A recent poll showed that 1/4 of all Texans still believe Barack Obama is a Muslim. Many of whom knew about the Jeremiah Wright stories... explain that to me? I don't know many Muslims who attend Church, do you?

Yeah, it happens on both sides. There are always people who will be blinded by their biases, political or otherwise.

I logged into Facebook today and a girl's status status said :

Facebook Girl is: OMG DON'T VOTE 4 OBAMA HE'Z A COMMUNIST!!!!

then another:

Facebook Girl is: OMG IF U DON'T VOTE 4 OBAMA U HaVe 2 TURN IN YOUR BLACK CARD!!!

I don't know if that's ignorance, but I sure am sick of seeing this type of crap all over Facebook (on both sides).

Seriously - I got a couple of Facebook messages calling McCain a fascist. Really intelligent stuff being put out there by people on both sides.
