Joe the Plumber is a registered Republican and voted in the Republican primary. He also claims he's a fan of McSame. And Joe is not even a licenced (sp) plumber.

I think the candidates need to talk to Uncle Jitterbug the Plumber. At least he has his plumbing papers (and will most likely vote for Obama).

Joe is McPalin's pal http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/1..._n_135367.html who was not properly vetted http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/1..._n_135211.html .

ETA: Here is another really good one! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/martin..._b_135468.html

Overall, I know that Obama won the debate hands down. At least this time, McSame LOOKED at him, even if it was to hurl debunked insults, rumors, lies and half-truths. <<<---- yes, this is what McSame did numerous times. I thought his eyes were going to get stuck in the back of his head! Obama was clearly the ADULT here.

LOL plus he owes back taxes!

But I do feel for him though - I'm sure he NEVER thought that his simple question to Obama would turn into all this!

Yup Bootleg as heck and he is not a licensed plummer....and guess what...he makes less than $250,000 a year. Which means he would benefit from Obama's Tax plan. I still think this guy was a plant.

Anywho..... hear is some interesting news.....

"Retired Gen. Colin Powell, once considered a potential running mate for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), now may endorse his opponent, Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), according to Republican sources. But an air of mystery surrounds Powell's planned live appearance Sunday on NBC's "Meet the Press," and no one is sure what he will say."

Olberman said that Joe is the ex-son-in-law of Charles Keating and that a close relative is some big wig in Alaska. Joe also used to be a member of a radical right wing party before he registered as a Repug.

From their blog to God's ears. This would be the last nail in McSame's coffin. Its funny that all of McSame's friends that he cannot influence are supporting Obama....

Colin Powell endorses Barack Obama for president

By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER, Associated Press Writer Stephen Ohlemacher, Associated Press Writer – 26 mins ago

WASHINGTON – Colin Powell, a Republican who was President Bush's first secretary of state, endorsed Democrat Barack Obama for president Sunday and criticized the tone of Republican John McCain's campaign.

Powell said both Obama and Republican John McCain are qualified to be commander in chief. But he said Obama is better suited to handle the nation's economic problems as well as help improve its standing in the world.

Happy that Colin endorsed Obama, but not shocked. I think people were expecting this for a few days now.

I am absolutely thrilled that Gen Powell finally made an endorsement. More importantly, how he explains why he made it. He talks about the difference between the two men and their campaigns as well as the direction of the Repug party (he still identifies as a Repug even though his strongly disagrees with the current state of the party). He explicitly states that Obama has passed the 'Commander in Chief' test and that he is the right man right now.

I agree. Powell was precise, if polite, in the reasoning behind his choice. Gen. Powell has been perhaps the dominant military/political figure of the last 15 years or so. It'll be interesting to hear the pundit analysis of his position.

That being said, I don't think endorsements carry the sway they used to, but this one may help Barack Obama particularly among the military and some independents. Obama's chief pollster was interviewed by Roland Martin this morning and said that Powell's favorability ratings were higher w/ military veterans than they were (presently) with AfAms.

Of course he's going to hate. Anyone endorsing Obama, especially one as powerful as Powell is going to be hated on by Limbaugh. He must have forgot (or ignored) that part of the reason why Powell left was because he was probably lied to about the war as much (if not more) as Congress and the American people.
