I still don't understand how Sylar changes HIS brain to match those with powers; what exactly Mrs. Petrelli is trying to do; what the HELL Mohinder was thinking; where Tracy came from; why Nathan's hanging out with Linderman's ghost; UGH! I have SOO many more questions!!

I'm glad someone else noticed that.
I enjoyed the season premier, and I expect I'll watch the rest of the season. But, when something is so blatantly ripped-off, I'm always disappointed. (Especially considering that Heroes is good enough it doesn't need to rip off other things.)
I realize that most of the concepts have been done before, but the similarity to The Fly was just too much to be excused.
Glad Linderman's back.

I said the exact same thing.
On a grammar note, did anyone notice when Hiro and Ando were talking that the subtitle said "discrete" when they meant "discreet"? I immediately thought about GC and the grammar thread.
ETA: I'm wondering why Claire was still able to heal even after Syler took out the part that supposedly gave her the power. And, why did removing that whatever take away her ability to feel pain? I was trying to figure out what it was that he's been taking out. It can't be the adrenal gland because that's not in the brain.

I don't think he removes it, I think he just studies it to learn the power. Remember he could look at a watch and tell immediately how it worked.
(That theory is courtesy a friend of mine who is a bigger fan that me.)

I thought he said he had to eat the brain to get the power. So he pulled that little thing out and ate it, right?
For the chemists out there, here's a shot of Hiro's half of the formula.

It looked like he took hold of a little piece of her brain and twisted it or something.
But still - how can he look at theirs and instantly change his??? He "learns" their power by looking at the brain? Hmmm.....

Right and he said something about "Ah there it is" when he found it. Remember he has that ability to "know" how things work which is why he fixed clocks. So, perhaps, once his mind grasps a concept, he's an expert of sorts.

I think the show is going down. Too many characters are coming and going. Villians turning into heroes and heroes turning into villians is stupid. It it was a sport it would screw up your rooting interest.

Last night (which I just saw now) was more of a developmental episode than anything else.
I'm eager to see more of this Dr. Zimmerman and learn how many "Nikkis" are out there! It seems like there may be many and each with a unique power.
I'm glad (current) Peter was brought back by (past) Peter. I was beginning to think he'd be stuck forever. Also, there is no way in hell Mom Petrelli should be sending Sylar out to do stuff, you can't really trust him. He can't control himself, he's too power hungry. He could turn on anyone at any time. How is she going to keep him in line? Just being his mom isn't enough. Look what he did to his other mom.
Also-I can't believe no one saw the whole thing with them coming, as I said earlier, the resemblance was just so strong from day one.

The coming and going I think is what's bothering me.
Glad to see a few things settle this past episode.
Definitely want to like Sylar too. Not the bad, evil Sylar, but a good version of him WOULD be interesting to see.
