Actually, there are cases where the membership of the sorority decides during the NM's pledge period that they no longer think the NM is suitable for the chapter and the NM is voted out. It's rare but I've seen it happen.

We did it. Girl was normal until she went off her meds. No one felt safe around her after her big "episode". True. Story.
