I use the Sephora brush cleaner, which you spray on, wipe with a cotton ball, then rinse. My brushes have maintained their "new" quality and actually apply better when I've cleaned them recently. Maybe it's just time for a new cleaner?

I started using BM a few weeks ago because my previous makeup wasn't covering up some new scars that I received from my summer camping accident. Now I'm kicking myself for waiting around so long to try this stuff. I LOVE IT! And you can't see either of my facial scars, which I was super self conscious about before I started using this stuff. Now I just need to figure out which eye shadows to buy...

I had the opposite experience...I have light scars from zits and they do NOTHING to cover them up..and I had it done by a professional. So...yeah. Probably won't be buying them.

I just got the Natural Light with Well-Lit and Back-Lit, and I was SHOCKED how well it worked. The Back-Lit especially; I put it under my eyes and down the side of my nose to the edge of my mouth. I don't really have wrinkles, but somehow it just makes my face look brighter and smoother. It also works nicely as an eye shadow for the crease part. The Well-Lit I also use as eye shadow and it really brightens my eyes. Highly recommended!

Natural Light really is an overlooked product. Although the instructions say to use it as the last step in your routine, but I've ignored that too. I've mixed the two shades together to buff under my foundation and I've also tapped a bit of it into my lid with my foundation. This might work best if you're a lighter foundation shade, but these seem to help on those days when my skin really needs a pick-me-up.

MeezD,
Basically, it's wetting the brush to apply your shadow - gives it a "shinier" look.
Anyone use the vitamins for the skin or eye rever upper? I got it in a kit from qvc last time it was on. I think the skin vits are breaking me out, but maybe it's pulling impurities from the skin?

It could be the skin rever upper. It didn't work well for me either. If I recall correctly, it has either salicylic acid or glycolic acid in it, which could irritate your skin, particularly if you're using any sort of other products containing retinols or additionaly salicylic or glycolic. I have to avoid products containing those ingredients since I use a night treatment with retinol in it.

hmmmm. . . thanks. I'm using Cetaphil (facial wash and moisturizer) and am not sure what ingredients are in that - I'll have to go check.

Oh, Cetaphil probably doesn't have any of that in it. You may just be sensitive to the ingredient.

Literally just now checked for it. I should have known that it didn't because it's basically for those with sorta sensitive skin anyway, right? You know, dermatologist recommended and all that?
Thanks for your help with this. Even when I first started using BE, I broke out a little, but kept using it until my skin adjusted. With this, I don't know.

No, but I really want the Ruby Collection. It looks stunning! I got last fall's version of the Bare Pleasures and really liked it. These are the mini jars, so they're perfect for traveling. I won't be getting the lip palette though, because I don't like the new formulation of their lipsticks. Colors are great, but they seem a bit drying to me.
