I completely agree with you. I said "Crazy talk!" because at first blush, it just sounds like something that could never, ever happen. Once I read (and listened), it made more sense. A woman who had gender reassignment surgery to become a man on the outside, but kept her plumbing. And then had artificial insemination. I have no problems with gender reassignment, either, except now I wonder how that baby is going to be born (isn't that every man's worst nightmare??? ). I guess it will be C-section. But the child will have this strange situation placed at her feet and she doesn't really deserve that.

People of Lesbos take gay group to court over term 'Lesbian'
http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5j...WsjmQD90CDUUG7
ATHENS, Greece (AP) A Greek court has been asked to draw the line between the natives of the Aegean Sea island of Lesbos and the world's gay women.
Three islanders from Lesbos home of the ancient poet Sappho, who praised love between women have taken a gay rights group to court for using the word lesbian in its name.
One of the plaintiffs said Wednesday that the name of the association, Homosexual and Lesbian Community of Greece, "insults the identity" of the people of Lesbos, who are also known as Lesbians.
"My sister can't say she is a Lesbian," said Dimitris Lambrou. "Our geographical designation has been usurped by certain ladies who have no connection whatsoever with Lesbos," he said.

Is it wrong that I felt a strange sense of relief when I read this that (a) they were female and (b) that they were adults???

Is it wrong to admit I shared similar feelings of relief? However, I do hate that there quest for a relationship with God ended in this.

None of that justifies hoping someone gets murdered.

Great tits cope well with warming
By Richard Black
Environment correspondent, BBC News website
At least one of Britain's birds appears to be coping well as climate change alters the availability of a key food.
Researchers found that great tits are laying eggs earlier in the spring than they used to, keeping step with the earlier emergence of caterpillars.
Writing in the journal Science, they point out that the same birds in Holland have not managed to adjust.
Apparently its still too cold for Dutch tits
"It's great to hear that the great tit is able to keep pace with the rapid rate of climate change, but then it's probably in the best place to do that," observed RSPB spokesman Grahame Madge.

Hackers try to cause seizures on epilepsy site
Web forum bombarded with links to pages with rapidly flashing images
SAN FRANCISCO - Computer attacks typically don't inflict physical pain on their victims.
But in a rare example of an attack apparently motivated by malice rather than money, hackers recently bombarded the Epilepsy Foundation's Web site with hundreds of pictures and links to pages with rapidly flashing images.
The breach triggered severe migraines and near-seizure reactions in some site visitors who viewed the images.
