Okay! So I haven't gotten a phone call yet, so I go at 3 to pick up my bid. So while I'm waiting in my jeans and white shirt, I'll tell you all how prefs went.

I was SO HAPPY to see I was asked back by Neptune, and surprisingly Jupiter, which I wasn't expecting because of yesterday, but still a full schedule of prefs to go to.

I went to Neptune first. We waited outside for awhile and finally were allowed to go in. I was first to walk in, the girls were gorgeous, and room was very nicely decorated, and the lights were beautifully dimmed. As I walked in, a sister that many other PNMs said I looked alot alike greeted me with a white rose/carnation. She smiled and led me to another sister and started talking. They had things in their hands to show me that meant alot to them. Another sister came up and they explained why I was invited back thus far and it really made me happy. They talked about their bid day's and how excited they were. Soon after, the lights flickered and and the ceremony begun. Several sisters talked about their sorority and friendship. One story in particular was a tear jerker and all the stories after that kept the tears in my eyes. These girls really did love each other and cared so much about each other. Other girls were wiping away run away tears and I heard several sniffles in the room. They all sang along in a song that showed true friendship and sisterhood. I left and made a wish wish a petal and walked out. I really knew this sorority was for me. I knew I wanted to be here.

After a break, I went to Jupiter next. I walked in first once again (alphabetical order) and the room was beautiful as were the girls. Although, when I walked in, I felt out of place. I wasn't sure if this was my home. Still, I stayed through the ceremony, which wasn't very long. The girls talked about their sorority and friendship as well, we all got flowers. They too seemed they loved each other, but I kept thinking about Neptune and how perfect I seemed there. The girls in Jupiter told stories that were very sweet. This ceremony didn't seem as personal as Neptune's, but one could really tell these sisters loved each other. I left and went with my rho gam to fill out my bid card. It didn't take much thought for me.

I ranked:
1. Neptune

I didn't put down Jupiter as second because I knew I wasn't meant to be there. It just felt like they weren't for me, although they were very nice girls, I didn't feel at home. I feel like I made the best decision.

I still haven't gotten "the phone call" yet... so I'm hoping the best. I'll definitely come back later and tell you guys what happened.

Yay!!! I hope you don't get the phone call and receive a bid to Neptune! And like all of us, we all will be dying to know where you end up! Here's to an awesome Bid Day/Walk for you! I'll sure be checking this thread come 3 o'clock...

SWT, I was just looking at the clock and thinking, if she had gotten a call, she'd have had plenty of time to calm down and post by now. And since she hasn't, I'm gonna agree and assume it's good news. I can't wait to hear who Neptune is - especially since she liked them the whole way through. I feel like that's happening less and less, where a PNM starts out liking a group and stays that way through Pref, it always seems to change through FR.
