Moving to NC

I am moving to Winston-Salem...but I do not know anyone in town. Any AGD's in the area? If you have any insight on apartments, places to go or anything else about the area please let me know!

Go to the Member Services site to do a Sister Search on W-S. There is a Junior Circle and Alumnae Chapter in Raleigh which is about 2 hours away.

My Property Advisor went to school at Western Carolina; if you like, pm me and I'll send you her email address so she can pass on any info.

my (biological) sister lives in Winston Salem and I want to move down to G'boro (for law school) after graduation next May!

I love the area, let me know what kind of info you want about the area. My sister lived in Brookford Place (http://www.brookfordplaceapts.com/s/homepage) before she bought her house last year.

My cousin used to work in the Probate Court office in Gboro but I think she's retired by now.

Who knows, I could be in NC in a year or so.

Of all the states I've been to, NC is my fave so far. My dad lived in Pinehurst for a number of years and my brother went to UNC-Chapel Hill and then lived in Smithfield (small town) and then Greensboro. It's really a beautiful state with a great climate (still get 4 seasons but winters are nice and mild!). Oh yeah, my ex-sister-in-law and her family live in Concord, outside of Charlotte.

my aunt and her family live in Concord! and my sister went to UNC-CH for pharmacy school! YAY NC!

sooo, I just found out last week that I got into my top choice law school (early decision!!) so I will also be moving to NC next summer!!! I'm moving to Greensboro, NC most likely next July! I'm so excited! AND glad that there will be sisters in the area

I <3 NC!! I'm living and working in the Charlotte area and working as the Recruitment Advisor for Western Carolina my alma mater chapter!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it here!! I don't know anyone anymore from the HPU chapter, I did when I was a collegiate attending TLC and what not...good luck with everything! NC is a great place to be!
