I wasn't trying to start anything. I figured he was talking about Oklahoma, so I was curious how he thought that was going to happen. I guess he is hoping that Texas will lose again, because that's the only way that Oklahoma will be playing in the Big XII championship.

And then, there's this -- specifically about the University of Oklahoma...
"OU is number one in the nation per capita among public universities in the number of National Merit Scholars enrolled. Seven hundred National Merit Scholars currently are enrolled at OU."
Our son's Freshman class at Oklahoma (he graduated last year) had almost 200 National Merit Scholars -- including him.

We had a great run game......but we couldn't put it in the endzone.....and our passing was non existent. Bad combination. Then add in 3 fumbles and a blocked punt for a TD......and you get a string of 21 points scored in 3:06 for K-State in the 3rd quarter. Not good.
What is so troubling about this year is our pass defense. It hasn't really changed at all from last year in terms of personnel.....but we're playing horrible. Michael Griffin, Terrell Brown, and Aarron Ross were all there last year...and our pass D was dominant. 384 yards given up to KState through the air. Horrible.
I'm still optimistic about the rest of the season. There is no reason why we shouldn't make the Sugar Bowl. I think to end the season 11-2 with a 3rd straight BCS game win would far exceed anyone's thoughts about Texas without Vince.

This is really minor, but due to bowl contracts, the Big XII conference winner must go to the Fiesta Bowl if not involved in the National Championship game...

It doesn't take an authority to know that Texas is a better school than Oklahoma. If you want me to provide some stats and links, i'd be happy to.

So, during the Michigan game on Saturday, the announcers on Fox were talking about what will happen AFTER the Michigan-Ohio State game. They said that it is very possible that they will face each other again in the national championship bowl. But, they also said that another team with only one loss could also be invited to that bowl instead. So, here is my prediction:
If Ohio State wins, they will play a different team for the National Championship Bowl. However, if Michigan wins, I predict that they will have Ohio State and Michigan play again. The logic is this... They have been ranking The OSU #1 all season and will want to save face in that ranking by showing that Michigan's win over OSU in Columbus was a fluke and that OSU is the better team overall. If OSU wins, they won't have to prove that. That's just my prediction.. we'll have to see what happens.

They also came out and said that because we lost.......the likelihood that Michigan OSU would play a rematch is highly unlikely.....especially considering that Rutgers is ranked second now in every computer poll for the BCS.
While I don't think they will...if USC beats both Cal and Notre Dame......they will probobly play in the NC...which is ridiculous......and will only start up ESPN's and Sports Medias homosexual love fest with the Trojans. I wanted to throw up after I saw USC go back to #3 after beating a mediocre Oregon......like that was some huge accomplishment. Nevermind that USC was about 19 points combined from losing 3 Pac10 games.
From my point of view.......the winner of the SEC Championship should play for the NC. That coference is ridiculous and makes the Pac10 look like Conf. USA. If Arkansas will have an easy time with Miss. St....but if they can get through LSU in Baton Rouge and take Florida in the SEC.....then they deserve it more than anyone.

I agree, Arkansas is the most deserving one loss team at this point...I really think they should beat LSU and UF.
