That Destiny's Child will be breaking for a minute to do their own albums.

Michelle is going to do a gospel album
Kelly is going to an alternative album
And I forgot what Beyonce said she will be doing

But according to Beyonce, they aren't splitting up just taking time apart to do their own thing. God has truly blessed them to get 4 albums out in 4 years. They are blessed despite popular opinion.

yes they are taking a break to do solo careers. they will continue their tour already in progress. they have worked hard that's for sure.

Be keeping the same style she has now. I guess she figures she will still be making money as long as she can crank the hits out, so why change the formula???

What kind of "alternative" album will Michelle be doing?

If they do "take a break," I don't see them doing another Destiny's Child album any time soon. I think that Beyonce's project will definitely be a success and she'll probably keep doing her solo thing as long as she's making money.

Honestly, most people don't even know Michelle's and Kelly's names. They can both sing extremely well, but I don't know how successful they will be.

Kelly's doing the alternative album. And as far as names are concerned, I bet nobody on GC knew that Michelle's first name is TENETRIA!!!!! MICHELLE is her middle name. I found that out in Vibe magazine. Farrah commented that the reason why Beyonce's daddy dearest made Michelle use her middle name was b/c TENETRIA sounded too "soulful." She's a Black girl, Mr. Know-It-All!!! What the hell do you expect??? I guess he felt that Tenetria sounded better than Beyonce (which to me it does ), and he didn't want that since Beyonce's the lead singer. Puhleeeeze, man!!!

There was an article in Sister2Sister about a year ago that discussed the name business and also how Farrah and Michelle were required to tan and some other crazy mess. Nothing about DC surprises me anymore.

Someone please say that I’m not the only one that’s irritated by this group. I give them much respect for making/selling records but I just can’t get past their fake “we’re best friends” image. And why e’ry time you see them… Kelly’s on the left, Beyonce’s in the middle, and Tenetria (bka Michelle) is on the right. Do you know any other group that stays in “order”?!!??!

As far as solo albums… I’ll check out Kelly and Michelle. I have no desire to hear Beyonce yodel 12 tracks!

Ok, and now speaking about the order they're always in. How about their dress code... Ok, so the outfits are the same but Beyonce always has on the skirt, Kelly, the shorts, and Michelle the pants.. Something my brother brought to my attention....

Okay, so if Tenetria is too "soulful" then wth is Beyonce?

I am through with Destiny's Child. I really stopped liking them once the kicked to original tow girls out of the group. They can all do their own solo albums, but they won't get a dime out of me.

I saw an interview with DC and their mother with Ananda on MTV after Farrah first left the group. Tina Knowles said she puts Michelle in pants and short shirts to show off her abs. She dresses Kelly in shorts because she has great legs. I don't remember why Beyonce is always in a skirt, but she had a reason.
I've also noticed the "order" the girls are always in as well.

Yeah I saw that too...she said she puts Kelly in short shirts cause she has great abs and Beyonce gets the skirts cause she has great legs..all she said about Michelle is that she is all over Bootylicious, so she can wear anything....WHATEVA!

All I know is (besides ALWAYS being in the middle and leading every song) Beyonce always has something on that separates her from the group...like a flower in her mane, or she'll have a seperate splash of color in her 'fit. (For instance, in the Independent Women video...in the scene where they are fighting and flipping...all of them had on purple and white, but Beyonce had Pink on too....) It's just little things like that, that makes me think that their "sisterhood" is just as fake as all that hair Beyonce is flossin!

Yes! That is exactly what she said. Great legs, good abs,...whatever. IMO, they need a real stylist. Mama Knowles just ain't doing it.

This same info was in Vibe magazine, too. Farrah was the one, actually, who had to go to a tanning salon b/c she was replacing LaTavia; the dark-skinned girl with her real, long hair. Farrah also had to wear the outfits that were made for LaTavia. Farrah was also talking about how when it was time to do a show, her hair was getting done last. She said that once Mama Knowles was done putting in Beyonce's weave, Kelly's pieces, and Tenetria's (I'm saying this name on purpose) weave, she'd do whatever to Farrah's hair and call it a day! WTF!?!?! If you supposed to be about your business, and it has to do with someone's hair, you better be doing the best job you can, or else you won't get anymore clientele. You're supposed to treat everyone you service equally, but I'm sure you guys know that'll never be the case here!!!

Beyonce is derived from Mama Knowles' maiden name, which is Beyince. Personally, Beyonce's name is stupid to me, b/c how are you gonna name your child something that sounds like fiancee??? Go figure!!! I, too, stopped really liking the group when LeToya and LaTavia were kicked out. It was all part of a master plan orchestrated by Daddy Dearest Knowles to help his spoiled daughter launch a solo career. Oh please!!!!
