I'm gunna go with Alpha Delta Pi.

Maybe it is the being approached part. Maybe it is the shared elements part. They do share the diamond shape and the hands in the badge with other sororities.

hmmm..so I am changing my guess to Sigma Kappa. I don't know why, but after reading some of the clues and other peoples' guesses, it just seems right

This is the most amazing story, and I'm so happy for you!

I don't think it is us, either, although I would love for it to be. I'm guessing ADPi.

Better clues!

HINT #3
The new member pin *does* have Jane Eyre's letters on it. A recent GC thread discussed this, I think.

HINT #4 (for those of you who prefer riddles to trivia...)
In the Wizard of Oz (movie but maybe not the book), Dorothy clicked her heals to find her way home!

Any significance to "Heal" instead of "Heel"? Not trying to be a grammar nazi, just digging for clues...

Hmm I would say either ASA or AOII. The Sigma Kappa pin has a serpent and a Kappa on it.

Yes but it is a Sigma...

The "Ruby" clue does pretty much rule SK out though, I just carried the list over from the previous page.

LouisaMay! Help us!

Ruby Slippers!

Definitely either Alpha Omicron Pi or Alpha Sigma Alpha.

We need more clues now. It's between those two. You have mentioned nothing exclusive yet.

I'm retracting my Tri Delta guess and changing it to Alpha Omicron Pi. After looking it up, I'm convinced, so that's my new guess.

I'm changing my guess to ASA:
-they share the color red with several sororities
-they share the crown as a symbol with ZTA
-they share the pearl as a jewel with several sororities
-and the ruby is another one of their jewels
