What I want to know is who's gonna die after the awards? 2005 Luther left us, 2004 it was Rick James, and 2003 it was Barry White. Who's next?

I hope she turns it out!

Songstress Chaka Khan will be honored at the awards ceremony with a BET Lifetime Achievement Award for her significant musical career, while Harry Belafonte will take home this year’s BET Humanitarian Award for his dedication to humanity. Khan, who was on hand for the announcements, expressed her gratitude about receiving the award. “I’m really honored. It’s about time…this is a great honor for me. I worked really hard over those 30 years. I’m so blessed.”

I hope Chaka is on point. The last few times I have seen her on TV singing she has been extremely off key and has looked like she forgot the words to her songs.
