when wolfbane blooms.....
Sounds like one of the KCL original fellows. They were so darn poetic in their writing, yet so "right on" in their thoughts. Perhaps I've become an anacronism (sp) as a lot of today's thinking (politically correct BS) makes me furious!

Who said this quote and where did he say it?
"TKE has been fortunate to have leaders who foresaw, at an early date, the increase in college population. Our growth has paralleled that of increasing enrollments, thus placing TKE in an enviable position among our fellow fraternities. We should continue this selective growth so long as there are colleges and universities capable of meeting our standards. "

grand prytanis awards
It does not seem that the Grand Prytanis (Int'l. President)
awards will go to most of us outspoken old turkeys anyway,
as we are not real good politicians, not politically correct,
but we do love the greeks and our fraternity membership.
At the twilight of our time, soon to enter the "chapter eternal"
or in plain terms, not long for this earth...we cannot always answer the questions and in this case there is a very small
chance that we may be chosen or honored anyway!
But we continue to offer our unsolicited advice and opinions
remaining self-proclaimed sages, no matter which group we
embrace...so, charge, folks. Do good works and make the experience better for all than what we had--if possible.
Regards, Erik

If it was up to me you would get every Top TKE honor because you have done a great service for the fraternity.

Obviously you are talking of the TEKE LOYALTY FUND. One of
the paradoxical things is that TKEs largest pre-WW II chapter,
Alpha Kappa, U of PA, with over 80 members then, was not
reactivated and has not been to this day. A shame.
