So, my favorite family got the boot already.

I really liked everyone but the "man is in charge it says so in the Bible" family. I liked the widow, but if she mentioned the Lord one more time I was going to kick the tv.

there are a few families that I like....

and I agree about the widow and family, I like them, but please stop invoking the Lord.

I was so happy to see my NYC guys from the first season and I am glad that at least 1 team recognized them, I would have right away......

I also like how they started off in the USA, since it not over yet, I hope that they continue here in the US for a bit.

the NJ family is bugging me, but I still like them...

The pink ladies really do need to stop screaming...PLEASE...

that is it for now....

Amazing Race

I read somewhere that they stay in the US through the whole Race.
The Jersey family has got to GO!!!
I really like the Father and Sons-In-Law team.
The Siblings are cool too.

We really liked them, too, and were sorry to see them get Philimated.

But, I also really liked the Linzes, (3 brothers and one sister), so I didn't want to see them go either.

So far, the Paolos (aka, the Bickersons) and the NOLA family (dad, stepmom and kids) and tops on my list to go away.

I don't know whether they stay in the US, but they do only go travel 11K miles, rather than the usual 40+K.

it would make sense that they would stay in North America because of the little one's that they anticipated throughout the race....

"i'll like to be on their team" - best line of the show. Go NYC guys!! Hope we see more cameos throughout the race...maybe Boston Rob at Fenway?

I'll be SORELY dissapointed if they stay in the states - the different cultures and international airport hassles are the best part of the show, imho...

Yay for Kevin & Drew!! I was thinking the same thing, I hope more TAR alumni make appearances.

Leave it to the team from New York to get lost in New York.

I heard that they stay in North America so they could be going to Canada. I know there were sightings but the pictures I saw in the spoilers showed the clue boxes with red & yellow flags, the ones in the show last night were yellow & white.

I was extremely disappointed to see that they were just around the States. I agree, the "Amazing Race" trademark is more about the hassle with different cultures, i.e. language barrier, different habits, international airports. They should label it "Amazing Race: USA edition" or something along that line.

I like the Linz family the most, they remind me of my friends back in college Did any of them go greek? It seems to be their type.

Anyway, I will still watch it, although I am disagree with some of the circumstances. But there are lots to see in the States.

I know a whole bunch of the Cinci Linzes although I haven't talked to a single one since elementary school....to the best of my knowledge none of them are greek, but I could be wrong. they went to high school with most of my family (i chose the public school route) ....i can ask around

I liked the international stuff, but I think it'll be fun to see what weird US/Canada locations and tasks they do.

First of all, I really wanted the black family to last longer than what they did but I knew the goodie part would do them in.

The family with the two opinated kids looked really interesting.

The family from New Jersey -----don't give them survival pass episode three.

The family of blondes-very competitive.

I know that the CBS bio says that Megan and Tommy (the youngest brother) go to Miami of Ohio, while Alex graduated from U of Cincinnati.

I agree, hoosier. While I always enjoy the international stuff, here is a real opportunity to show the less well-known facets of North American culture. I can see a lot of potential with Native Americans, French-Speaking Canada, pockets of groups like the Amish, etc.

Plus the history aspect. I really liked the way they did the Washington-crossing-the-Delaware task.

Maybe they're hoping more kids are watching since this is family edition -- could be a good lesson.

FYI...

Linda Weaver is a Kappa Delta alumna from Auburn.

I met her a couple of years ago @ a Florida KD conference, about a year before her husband was killed.
