1)Salem's Lot ( the old tv version)
3)Carrie
3)Stand By Me
4)The Shining
I much prefer the books though.Usually the movies don't do them justice.

The Green Mile, because it was the only one that followed the book almost perfectly.

I ADORE the Shawshank Redemption. Wonderful movie!! The Green Mile is also a favorite. Both are very moving stories.

Carrie - I'll never grow tired of this movie
The Shining - Only Jack Nicholson can play such a sinister role, lol.
Green Mile
Shawshank Redemption
Pet Cemetary - the book, not the awful movie
Creepshow
Misery

I had a discussion with a friend about turning the Dark Tower series into a movie. Do you think it's possible to do it? I told him it would be a lot better if they do the Tallisman.

"The Shining" is soooooo creepy!
"It" scares the bejesus out of me...I watch it because I can't keep from it, even though I know I'm terrified of clowns.

The Shining - The mini-series one is truer to the book!
Christine - first Stephen King movie I saw!
Carrie
IT - I still hate clowns after this one!
The Shawshank Redemption

Green Mile
Shawshank
Misery
Dead Zone (the movie w/Christopher Walken...although I'm a big fan of the USA TV series....)
Salem's Lot (old one)
Don't like many of the others b/c they don't do justice to the books, and end up cartoonish alot of the time (It, Pet Sematary most notably--much scarier in book form).

The Langoliers was weeeeeird, and in a way I still don't get it, but I enjoyed it.
IT still scares the shit outta me no matter how many times I watch it -- and I still hate clowns because of it.
The Shining...I refuse to watch it alone.
But my favorite is ROSE RED. Especially since I have a ROSE RED of my own!
