I've been doing our school's Panhel website for a few years now but using the crapolicious geocities to do it. I want to start creating one on our school server but I need a program first. When I took my graphic design class it wasn't up to date so we used Word to make our websites. I'm not too familiar with other website programs but I've heard of Dreamweaver or something liek that.
Can anyone give me suggestions for cheap (possibly free) website programs that are pretty easy to learn and use? Thanks!
If you have Microsoft Office Professional you should have MS Frontpage [I think that's the one, haven't used it in a long while] which is easy to do websites on.

Office 2003 Professional has Microsoft Publisher; FrontPage is now only sold separately. It will do a decent, though basic webpage.

The only one that i'm familiar with is Frontpage. I know that at my school bookstore, they sell Frontpage for like $10. For one of my classes we had to design a basic webpage with Frontpage...it is pretty simple. You can use templates that it has, or if you are familiar with HTML, you can type in the HTML and have it anyway you want, then upload it to a certain page. Lol.
