Fun news!

Hi ladies! I have been MIA for a few days as I was in Puerto Rico with my FIANCE!!!

We got engaged on Weds. night - the first night we got there. It was all very sweet and romantic and I'm so exctied! I'm so excited to be back here where I can gush to people! In PR all of Orlando's family speaks Spanish and I don't so I've been waiting almost a week to gush!

It's a round stone set in platinum with a long, thin baguette on either side. It's so beautiful and just what I'd hoped for! I took a pic with the digital camera that I need to send to the parents. If I ever figure out how to post it on here I will!

I totally forgot to mention!

After he asked we walked to the hotel bar for a drink. On the way we passed through this plaza on the hotel grounds. I stopped for a minute to look at the ring in the moonlight (I know

). When I looked up, there was one of those plastic owls on a ledge in front of me - the kind you put out to scare birds. I said something to Orlando like "Look, an owl! It's a sign - the Chi O gods are telling me they approve!" He groaned!!!

I think seeing that owl is really neat. Men never will get it, but I wouldn't worry about it...they don't know what they're missing.

And I wish I could pick my bridesmaids from GC! I haven't asked anyone yet b/c I'm still stressing about the friend who "used to be my best friend but we haven't stayed that close and now she's files bankruptcy so does she really have the $ to be in the wedding friend."

I'm seriously considering just a Maid of Honor who is my chapter sister and definitely my current and true best friend...And I swore I would have drama-free wedding planning! Oh well!

AND I have finally figured out how to post pictures! (See the houses thread for a pic of Pi Zeta!) So, here is my ring. And I am sorry about my hairy knuckles! YUCK!
