Its a bigger day then we all realise. This is such a historical time. I can't imagine how it may feel to witness/experience the discriminating '60s and to live to see a black man voted in as a presidential nominee! Wow! Pro-Obama or not, you have to admit, this is a day that will go down in history.

Sorry, DaemonSeid. I'm hijacking this thread for a minute because I couldn't decide where to post this.
I'm watching the DNC coverage on MSNBC. Did anyone see the veteran that was on a few minutes ago? She said that Obama got 6x more funding than McCain from the Iraq troops/families.

This article is almost a month old, but references some numbers similar to those you're stating:

I can't imagine that it would be 6x the donations, as that would be a HUGE amount. I could see if Obama had a donation advantage, though.
