Sorostitute

. . . coming over from the Fraternity Recruitment forum.

Sororstitute - hilariously funny or offensive? I realize context matters, so let's just say someone you don't know at all or not well uses it in conversation.

Funny - = 0

Offensive - = 1

Does anyone, especially with the context given and this being GreekChat, expect anything other than a run-away win for "offensive"?

On GreekChat, definitely offensive.

my answer

now let me explain: for the three of my four years on campus anybody who knew anything about knew a.) I was quiet around people I didn't know or b.) I was a virgin.... My reaction would be quite different though if I was there and they said it to one of my sisters.

I personally don't care what people think about my sexual behavior, but if your going to judge my sexual behavior by what I wear on my chest or my bag then your opinion doesn't matter in my point of view and I would worry about anyone who did put weight in your opinion.

PS I think its Sorostitute

It may well be - I copied the spelling from the thread over in Fraternity Recruitment. But it's not like you can check it in the dictionary!

eta - better?

i find it offensive.

that being said, i think it is more offensive that some college women like the word, and use it themselves. i am also amazed when young women call each other 'hoes' in jest. have some class, please.
