I've had this ipod since last Christmas, and mainly only used it to listen to class lectures while I jog (I'm a nerd, so what?!), but now I'd like to expand my repertiore and try say... music for once. So I go on iTunes and draw a blank! There's so many options - I can't decide what I want. So...
LOL. The iPod playlist I use when working out is actually called "OPERATION FATASS"!
It's hard to choose just 5, but here are some of my favorites:
Love Today - Mika (Grace Kelly is also a favorite)
Walk This Way - Aerosmith & Run DMC
I'll Fly With You - Gigi D'Agostino
The Warrior - Scandal featuring Patty Smyth
Only the Good Die Young - Billy Joel
I'm such a dork, I know, but I get revved every time "Gonna Fly Now" (the theme song from Rocky) starts playing through the headphones. I get at least 10 extra reps of whatever I'm doing when it plays. I'm also in love with some of the music from Hairspray at the moment, especially "You Can't Stop the Beat." It's very catchy and keeps me at a pretty fast pace on the treadmill. Other than those two, it's pretty much booty-poppin' music for me.
how can you have a workout playlist without Kanye's Workout Plan
My treadmil / elliptical mix includes anything Beyonce... crazy in love, get me bodied, deja vu, lose my breath (o.k. that's destiny's child but same difference)
and the rest would be cheesy 80s songs. upbeat and pop - stuff that keeps me going.
Agreeing with Blutang...Beyonce gets me going. Crazy in Love & Deja Vu are really good. I also run to Evanescence ' Bring Me To Life ', OutKast's ' B.O.B.', and T.I.'s 'Bring 'Em Out'

Bush was one of my favorite high school bands, and they have a Remixed CD that has all the songs I loved then overlayed with techno beats. Awesome for running stairs!
