IM NEW!!! Help Please?!

Hi first of all My user name is just Michelle Backward!

Nothing strange or foreign?!
Please excuse the ignorance.. I'm Newer than New to GC.. and Greek Life in general!! LOL

I would really like to be in or start a Sorority... YES!! I have read all of the posts and threads on the topic... and I will take all those comments into consideration, But the thing is I live in New Zealand?!

We do have a few Sororities at some of our Main Universities, But I'm not actually attending any of them, I'm hoping to attend a Private School!

I have done research on many College (U.S) Sororities.. Well what they let out on their Websites anyway!? And I totally Know Sorority life is not all Glitz and Glamour like Hollywood paints it. But I really Respect the Sisterhood of Sorority life and find "The Philanthropy" (Please excuse the spelling error!) of different organisations to be interesting!

Anyway, I have 5 Questions?!

Would anyone recommend that I start a Sorority?!
If so, Does anyone know of any International Organisations that I can maybe go through to get guidance from?!
If there is No international Org. to go through are there any BASIC tips to get me Started?!
if the Sorority is not on Campus Grounds.. what do you call that kind of Sorority?
Is there like a age requirement for Sorority life?!

Any advice is Good Advice at the moment.. again I apologize for my Ignorance on Greek Life.. But I'm Learning a lot already?!

First off, can you perhaps link us to the website of one of these sororities? I personally have never heard of Greeklife in NZ. Because a lot depends on if you even have a Greek system to speak of in your country.

Links... Uhm I just found them on Facebook... "Auckland Sorority" in Google. I don't think they have the Full GREEK effect, thats why I asked about starting one?! There's one at Auckland, statred by a Guy I think.. and a Fraternity and Sorority in the Capital.
What do you mean by

You very first step should be to see if there are any women on your campus that are interested in a sorority like group. If so, you should then focus on developing friendships within that group. Only then should you begin to think about starting a sorority. I think many girls believe that they must create a sorority and then get girls to join. I believe that you will have a much better and more meaningful organization if you design it around a group of women who are already close friends. That way your group will be characteristic of who you are as women and friends. Your sorority will be something that you create as friends around your shared values and beliefs.

In a nutshell: Don't create a sorority to find sisterhood. Find sisterhood and then create.

Yeah I have around 7 friends who actually came up with the idea as a joke, and I thought I would just do A little Research on the Topic..

That is True.. Me plus My one friend.. Plus each of my seven friends and if each of them had a friend interested thats like 16 people!! NOTT BADD huh?! lol

I am not sure however I like everything about a sorority and I am trying my best to get into one. I have put on five pounds and I am 130 well I am black so I am not meant to be very thin but I dont want to get stretch marks on my stomach. You need to stay in shape, eat healthy and dont have sex with men who are not high in the sorority sisters standards, I cant wait to get rushed in I am so nervous.

UHm??!! WHAT?? I have near perfect spelling?! Im 17 and sitting a Certificate Two Years above my School year.. So if thats not "smart" Please define what "smart" Is!!??
And Why are you telling us your Weight, when the question has nothing to do with that.. I think it's cool that your rushing or whatever.. But please keep the weight issues to yourself thanks!!
