KD colonizing at Pace University!

kddani posted this on the geekboards when GC was down, so I'm posting it here as well because I think it's totally awesome!

Currently on campus according to Pace website:
Phi Sigma Sigma
Delta Phi Epsilon
Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sigma Iota Chi
Delta Phi Omega
Nu Zeta Phi
Alpha Lambda Sigma

I'm not sure if this will be a new colonization or if we will be absorbing one of the locals. Just heard about it this morning.
And it's really neat b/c on the national site about the colonization it tells you to call Amanda Gibbons, my old pledge mom and then president, at nationals now for more information. Everytime I think of how much she's done and still doing with KD it makes me smile.

But yay KD for colonizing a new chapter!

I still kind of chuckle about KD going to "PACE" University.

It's kind of punny, really.

I know, isn't it cool? I am on the colonization committee with KDNYAA. We are so excited!!! There will be no Fall recruitment, though, since Pace doesn't allow freshmen to pledge during their first semester. However, we will pledge sophomores, juniors, and seniors, so we'll have lots of ladies. The first "event" for these ladies is in September at a Shake Shack.

Haha, until you said it I hadn't even thought about that. And then it still took me a second. But yes, very funny now that you mention it. Haha.

I noticed on Sigma Delta Tau's website that they are also colonizing at Pace University. I didn't realize more than one sorority could colonize at the same school in the same year!

Aww! That's so great. You should contact the KDNYAA at kdnyaa@hotmail.com. I am the current webmaster for the AA and I'm sure our president would love to have you come to one (or a few) of our events!!!

Good luck to the ladies at Pace from a member of the very recently re-colonized Gamma Tau chapter at Ripon College! It's a lot of work, but completely worth it!!
