Prince William and Kate Middleton have split

You can't blame the woman. She saw how badly the press was hounding her while they were just dating. Plus, it's not as if she could ask the only other person who's gone through this for advice...

Also, people who dated through college break up ALL THE TIME.

It also wouldn't surprise me if they eventually get back together.

I was thinking the same thing. They are probably still dating and she needed some time away from the press.

My mom is believing some gossip news that Kate was "upset" that William wasn't 'spending enough time with her'.

I highly doubt that gossip, mainly because they are both busy.

I personally believe the press hounding them and the country hounding them into marriage before they are ready is the biggest reason they broke up. Plus, I'm sure his family was pressuring him to not only A) get married and B) marry someone from royality (which unfortunately, while Kate is from a well off family, she doesn't have a title (at least I think)).
