How are Greek Relations at your school?

I am going to be writing an article in our Greek Newsletter here at Indiana University, and the topic I've chosen to pursue was Improving the poor relationships between Greek houses (mostly fraternities). I would like to get some ideas as to how some other Greek communites at other schools "operate" and get along with eachother.

For instance. When I visit my best friends, who are Delta Sigs at Penn State, we can walk across the street to either Beta or KDR if they are having parties, get in, and have a great time no problem. Here at IU, if we were having a social function and someone from say ,SNU, were to show up and try to get in, they would more than likely be turned away. We rarely have members from different fraternities at our parties and from my understanding, it is like this at most other houses on our campus. I for one, would never consider going over to Phi Psi to party without an invite and expect to get in.

So, Im asking you. How would you describe interfraternity relations at your school?

thanks
Eric
