living in a sorority house?

I am a transfer student and I am rushing this Fall.

I just found out that my new housemates are sisters of this one sorority
that I have been interested in.

Is this a bad thing if I don't get a bid from them? I haven't met any of them yet but I don't know if this would hurt my chance of getting a bid from that sorority or help me. The chapters at my school doesn't have sorority houses and I think they might actually use that house for some of their sister activities.

I don't want to be in a uncomfy situation if I end up not getting a bid from them or end up joining a different one. Well, I don't know if this chapter is actually agoing to informal/COB this fall. They might not participate.
