So I was talking to Brother Trey online, and it donned on me that our chapter was once a local and at one point it had a badge, COA, and most likely a ritual. I never really thought about it until this evening as to where all of this stuff could possibly be. Back in 1921 our founder, Russell R Fling, founded a local, Pi Sigma Alpha. In 1923 merged with Lambda Chi to form the Gamma Tau chapter. As far as I know, and anyone else I have ever spoken to, has never even heard of Pi Sigma Alpha except in name, as sad as that is.
I know Tom has spoken to me on several occasions about how he as donated his stuff to nationals, and it is sitting somewhere gathering dust in their basement.
My question is 2 parts.
1. For those guys who troll the the dungeon of our HQ, have you all ever come across anything from Ohio State, and the Pi Sigma Alpha local chapter?
2. What happens to all of the other local swag from chapters that have incorporated with LCA long ago? Does it all stay in the house locked up? Does some of it go to nationals? Does it get burned in some allegiance ceremony to LCA????
Very curious as to what the hell happened to our past, and why none of is in my hands this very second.
ZAX,
John
