What is/was your GPA?
I wanted to get a sampling of people's GPAs, whether current or upon graduating.
My overall was 3.65; within my major was 3.85.

Mine was a 3.9 when I was accepted to med school in October of my senior year, and a 3.8 when I graduated that May.

4.0 - when I graduated in Dec. 2003.
We didn't have anything like that for my masters, as it was essentially fail, pass or distinction (and distinction is near impossible), and all assessed work was on a 20.0 point scale.

Undergrad--3.6, Graduate--4.0
See what I can do when I don't have to take those silly required Accounting and Algebra classes?

These responses really make me happy, because there are so many negative stereotypes of Greeks.
As far as "good enough to graduate", I agree that it is a huge achievement. I don't know dropout rates for undergraduates, but college isn't easy, and committing yourself to yout GLO and other activities (as I saw that many Greeks were active in many activities and clubs at my schools), is no small task.
BTW, SigKapSweetie, did you end up going to medical school? If so, what was your specialty? I was a boring English & Journalism major, but I always loved biology and especially genetics.

^ How do you get a GPA for your PhD? Must be a totally different system, as we either get it (with minor corrections or 3 month corrections from the viva) or don't.

I graduated with a 2.8 as a chemistry undergrad (which was good enough to get me into a great grad school).
As a master's student I graduated with a 3.3 .
