E-mail Indy
John Holloway (a/k/a Biff Holloway), the guru of Chapter Services may have some useful resources here. An e-mail to him and your friendly neighborhood ELC may work wonders.

We're having our first annual Watermelon Bash. Our High Theta, Jason Wang, has been organizing it. His email address is jwang@stlcop.edu.

Seriously, I'm all for fun events, but is it really necessary to waste food like that?
Why not donate the watermelons to a survival center or a food pantry, where, oh, I don't know, people who are hungry and starving could EAT them??? Maybe a family that can't afford proper nutrition with fruits and vegetables could use that?
I dunno, seems like a complete waste to me.

We've been doing a Watermelon Bust for a while here. Feel free to contact me if you would like more information on how we do ours.
IN general, we invite all campus organizations and groups of students to compete in the Bust. We had 15 teams last year.
Events ranged from a "Where's Waldo" event to find brothers on campus, a giant slip 'n slide, relay races, queen and king competitions, and more.
My e-mail is pdh001 at marietta dot edu if you'd like to find out a bit more.

"Treat the whole county of Worchester, Massachusetts, to an all-you-can-eat buffet…twice."
Being a lifelong Masshole, I'm surprised I've never heard of Worchester, Massachusetts.
There is a WORCESTER, Massachusetts.

Weeklong competitions could be either a penny drop or a where's waldo search.
We have an event where competitors in Watermelon Bust search out brothers of the chapter and have them sign a sheet of paper. The team with the highest percentage of signatures wins.
Penny Drop is something we're looking into, so I still don't have all the details on that.

Here is our definition below. You give girls a way to be sneaky, the ability to sabotage each other, and get money they'll bust ass for it.
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY – PENNY DROP
- Pennies donated in each box count as positive points for that sorority. All other currency—silver coins, gold dollars, bills, etc.—count negative in that dollar amount (a nickel is 5 negative points; a dollar, 100, etc.).
- Checks can be specified as “pennies” or “not pennies” and will be tallied accordingly. Please make all checks out to Lambda Chi Alpha.
- Your donation, whether the points are positive or negative, does NOT need to be placed in your sorority’s box.
- Collection will start Monday, September 17th and last all of Bust Week, ending promptly at 3 PM on Friday, September 21st. No money donated afterward will account for scores toward Penny Drop, although donations are still welcome.
- Statistics will be updated daily and shown on the wall during collection hours. Up-to-date statistics can also be found on our website, www.wculambdachi.4t.com
- The sorority that has the most positive points wins points toward Watermelon Bust
