lions! There are tons of very nice decorative lions available for purchase "out there." I myself have a ceramic one, a crystal one and two from Africa- one hand- etched in green stone and one hand-carved of wood.
You can also do a blue and white decorating theme with curtains and rugs and what not, but that might be taking it a bit too far.

Most of the adpi stuff I have in my place are in my office. I have a few magnets I got from VLS last year on my fridge but in my office, I have a framed composite of the chapter I advise, a few frames, and my adpi stein.
At work I have some more pictures and the gold lion box they gave us at Convention closing banquets in Phoenix. I get so many compliments for that lion box!

I was thinking that I wanted to get the magnets for my fridge. It is black, so the blue magnets would look cool on the fridge. I was thinking that I wanted to frame my composites and hang them up. All this time, they have been sitting in my room not framed. I just kept putting it off.
Thanks guys. Any more ideas are greatly appreciated.

Do the bathroom in Violets. Lots of purple, blue and white accents, i.e. candles.
But I agree...magnets, Pictures, Lions, Diamonds are all great decorating items. I have many stuffed and ceramic lions that adorn my house. I also have glasses, pins, magnets, throws and baskets from my ADPi days.

LOVE the violets in the bath!!
I have my ADPi & violets china in my china cabinet in the living room, magnets on the fridge, a picture frame in the study. (Have a display of my ADPi memorabelia collection in the rec room. Mr F&F's way of minimizing the "sorority house" effect!)

I have most of my ADPi items in my media room - a framed Creed, awards, afghan, lions on my monitor, ADPi books & other lions on the shelves. There's a tiny pot of violets in my breakfront, and a large, old fashioned saltbox full of violets in my kitchen (my kitchen is all botanical prints). I used to have my paddle hanging up, but too many people made the typical "ha-ha, I know y'all paddled each other!" remarks.
I also have a few of violet china pieces that I only bring out when I have sisters over, or am taking something to the chapter. I don't leave it out, though. I love the idea of a violet bathroom - mine's blues, with blue star guest soaps.

Speaking of soaps, has anyone else bought the ADPi soaps by a certain seller on ebay? She is a licensed vendor and makes really awesome soaps in all our symbols! I've done a lot of business with her - those things make great gifts for eboard, advisors, alumnae... anyone!

Since I don't have my own "place" yet, my ADPi stuff is pretty restricted to my bedroom - lions, violets, etc.
I do, however, have things to remind me of ADPi up in my "office" at school - I have an ENTIRE portable classroom as my office for my internship at one of my schools (gotta love construction!), so I have a bunch of pictures up that have ADPi meanings - sisters, pictures from VLS last summer, lions, even a violet "plaque" that my mom had picked up in a resale shop that was hanging out in my room until I figured out where to put it.
Even if I don't specifically mention being Greek to my kids, I can subliminally get the message across

From Louisiana? Yes, I have! I've given several of the stars as gifts to ADPis - they smell so good and are so pretty!! And yes, she will give a discount if you buy a certain amount!

since we talking adpi stuff, does anyone have suggestions on getting my certificate framed and/or mounted?
I've seen a really pretty one on ebay w/ the crest and all that, but I believe that oversize frame was horizontal.. and i think our membership certificate is vertical? It's been awhile, it is packed up with all my other adpi stuff.

A tiffany blue and white room will be elegant and classy! I really want to do that with my next place.
Most of my ADPi items are packed away at the moment, but I have a few violet items on display-- picture frames, a plate from Houston Convention. Go with some pretty and subtle touches-- go crazy with kitchen magnets though-- you can never have too many magnets on the fridge! Don't forget picture frames with photos of sisters!
And of course, if you have an office, that is a great place to display your favorite alphie, an ADPi cup to hold pens, your membership certificate, maybe a framed copy of the creed.
Also, you could make a quilt of your t-shirts and use it as a throw for your sofa. I've been meaning to do this for years.

One of my chapter sisters had a quilt made of her high school tshirts (homecoming, sports, etc.). It looks awesome.
