Get out and vote!

I'm the exception to the rule, I try to influence those around me to vote for the candidates I like. Then I complain when my candidates don't get voted in. Next year, next year I will vote!

^^^ me three. Not like mine will matter much. All of my lovely moderate-to-liberal votes in a highly conservative state. Blah.

Absentee voting is a great thing. No lines and no stinky voting booths! Our Junior Senator is up for re-election and he faces a feisty Republican candidate this year. Every vote counts.
Today I'll be sign waving for a HS classmate running for the State House!

I'm running down to the local town hall on Tuesday when I get a chance. I'll be glad when I stop getting these annoying mailings.

Right, because one needs to be an American citizen in order to vote. One shouldn't be so quick to use the rolling eyes smiley.

I miss being able to vote by absentee ballot. And my state doesn't allow early voting.
I will probably vote before work. If I leave it for after work, it's a guarantee that I'll get stuck late at the office and not make it to my polling place before it closes...

Its going to be a bit harder for me to vote this year, but I'm still gonna vote. I used to vote absentee, and my polling place was the school I worked. Now I'm gonna have to wake up early to vote before work/vacation.

Glad to see that you will be using your full rights of citizenship when you are able to.
Not that it matters here all that much, but I was unaware of your status prior to this.

I absentee voted already. I just want election day to get here so my phone doesnt ring every 5 seconds with a recorded political message or my mail box overstuffed with ads from campaigns
