Question about conflicts with class schedule for recruitment

Okay, recruitment starts on a weekday during school at my school. (I don't want to say which weekday, because I don't want people to lookup the school.) I have classes until 4:00 on the first day of recruitment (this class is from 1-4 and meets once a week). BTW, it was the only time slot issued for that particular class. They don't have more than one time slot for the class. And it's the only day I have class that late.

What would happen to me? Will I get cut automatically from the sororities that I didn't attend the parties if I sign an absentee form stating that I had class during that period?
