Hello Sinfonians!

Greetings!

I am a college student in Northern VA seriously interested in joining this stellar group of men. I have been singing all my life and earnestly love music. There a few brothers at my school, George Mason University in Fairfax (Northern), VA, but there is no chapter. I thought about trying to pledge through the Zeta Iota ch. at Howard U, but I want to see what I can do at Mason. How do I try to start a chapter?

I'm glad to hear that you are interested in joining Phi Mu Alpha. Honestly the best info I can give you is go to www.sinfonia.org . That is are national headquaters website. There is alot of good information there. If there are Phi Mu Alpha brothers already at your school, I would say talk to them to help start up a chapter there. You can also try to get in touch with guys at Longwood University, ( my alumni chapter), Radford, or JMU. Those schools all have chapters and might be willing to try to help get something started.
