Hello Sinfonians!

Greetings!

I am a college student in Northern VA seriously interested in joining this stellar group of men. I have been singing all my life and earnestly love music. There a few brothers at my school, George Mason University in Fairfax (Northern), VA, but there is no chapter. I thought about trying to pledge through the Zeta Iota ch. at Howard U, but I want to see what I can do at Mason. How do I try to start a chapter?

Hello there!
I'm glad to hear that you are interested in joining Phi Mu Alpha. Honestly the best info I can give you is go to www.sinfonia.org . That is are national headquaters website. There is alot of good information there. If there are Phi Mu Alpha brothers already at your school, I would say talk to them to help start up a chapter there. You can also try to get in touch with guys at Longwood University, ( my alumni chapter), Radford, or JMU. Those schools all have chapters and might be willing to try to help get something started. Let me know if you need more help. I'll try to dig up some contacts for ya. Good Luck

Hey!

Do what jwjpma4403 said, and contact Ryan Ripperton (our Exective Director; ripperton@sinfinia.org). He should be able to suggest appropriate people in the area to talk with.

Good Luck!
