I don't think where you went to undergrad has any true bearing on how successful you will be in persuing an advanced degree. In law school, I had students from every type of undergrad campus (PWI, HBCU, junior college/university combo, etc) and most students were able to handle the curriculum.
The only thing I think the admissions boards are truly concerned about is how good your grades were while you were in undergrad. Of course, most schools do also look at your post-undergraduate work experience depending on how long you were out of college.
