So, in two weeks my chapter along with all the other groups will be extending their bids. The official begining of new member education begins on February 4th.
What does your chapters do in the final weeks to I do not want to say "sell" but give your chapter that extra push to make it stand out among the rest? From past experience I think this is an area my undergrad chapter needs a little bit of work. In the past we have done small gifts and things, but it has usually been just too expensive considering the number of girls and the fact that they have a week from when they are given their bid to when they accept. I have already suggested to the current Recruitment chair to send emails over winter break just to say hey, and that they are being thought of and such. Does anyone else have any ideas and advice?
Just to recap about the campus I was from: 1,300 people, normal sorority pledge class 10-20, we are the only national.
(Also, I know I have read on other boards about there being strict rules regarding communications with potential members (NPC rules maybe?) but we do not have those so anything is a possibility.
Thanks in advance
