How did (do) you act when...

I was just thinking about this because a friend doesn't care for a member of another sorority and is thinking about going out in the Spring...she told me that she doesn't have to be nice to one of the members that crossed this semester; however I advised her that wouldn't be such a good idea to have an attitude or act ugly towards her because she has what you want.

My question is...how did (do) you act when you don't care for one of your line sisters or big sisters? How did you treat them before, during, and after the process? Have you grown to adore them or do you continue to go your separate ways once business and the fun & games are over with?

Also, what would you tell an interestee to do in that scenario?
