Question Just a Question

Could any of you fine gentlemen find out of their was ever an -official- chapter of Sigma Pi was at the University of Rio Grande?

The reason I ask this is that I was going through some Rio yearbooks (80's I believe) and their was a GLO of Sigma Pi w/letters, berets, and flag for the picture. But here's the thing, throughout speaking w/a whole lotta alumni and sifting through documentation, they were still called a local. The only Nat'l on campus was Alpha Sig. Here's another thing, a local fraternity died out a couple of years ago that went by "Pi Sigma" and from the 60's to 2001 they were called the latter. But only in that one yearbook they called themselves "Sigma Pi". Oh, and no it wasn't a typo on the schools part, they had the correct letters on.

Could you guys shed some light on this for me??

Greek Love, Kayla
