Question Why Was This Done?

We just found out that RUSH at our school is going to be done in only 3 days! Why on earth would they compact Rush in such a short amount of time? Is this a good thing? Does this benefit the larger houses or the smaller houses?

At my school we had rush in 3 days. We are a 100% commuter campus so it does help us in the long run. We have no houses or suites, so 3 days is perfect for us. But this past year we did it in 2 days, reason being one of the other sororities advisors complained about rush and wanted to do her own thing and she convinced the greek advisors as well as the other chpater advisors to change rush month before rush started. That changed hurt us in the long run, but the 3 day rush works best for us.

Well, my fall pledge class only had 2 ladies drop out. Our pledge class was only about 26 girls. I do know that other sororities had pledge classes of over 40 but a more than half of them dropped. Also, one sorority did not get close to making quota to this could also help them too. I guess this may be why they are doing it.
