The Irony Of Airline Flying According To Another Board

I recently flew from Seattle to Amsterdam with Northwest Airlines. Prior to takeoff after the usual safety speach, we were told that due to security concerns we had to stay in our seats unless using the lavatory and there shouldnt ever be more than one person in line for the lav. at any one time. The ironic part was that they then went on to talk about the dangers of deep vein thrombosis.
Anyone else had a similar experience? What gives?
