Hi gang,
Somehow I stumbled on a greekchat.com thread that mentioned Alpha Kappa Phi, a New York state regional sorority founded in 1885 as the Agonian society and still informally known as the Agos. Their pin is the anchor, too! Could not find a picture of it on their Web site, but did find a photo of their house that shows an anchor on the front.

An NPC group, Alpha Sigma Tau, named its magazine the Anchor in 1925. Interestingly enough, the 75-chapter sorority has its national headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama....although it has few Southern chapters and its only Alabama chapter is about 75 miles away.
Anybody know of any other Greek-letter groups with the anchor as a symbol?
