I love how short infomercials portray life as being so incredibly inconvenient if you don't have the gadget being advertised.
One of my favorites was the "TurbieTwist" hair wrap. My daughter really wanted one of those when she was around 10-11. The commercials showed women trying to do all kinds of things with their wet hair wrapped in a cumbersome towel: "AAAAAUUUGGGHH! I can't believe how hard it is to talk on the phone, mow the lawn, and unload the dishwasher because this large towel keeps coming unwrapped!!!" Um, how about taking the towel off and letting your hair dry?
