Well as you all know, earlier this week I had finals.
I just went to look at one of my grades and disovered I made a C in the class.
I was devistated. I just knew I was doing well enough in the class to make an A or B, especially when I knew there would be a humungus curve because it was a graduate level course.
When I went to talk to the professor about the final, I noticed that I had marked my answers backward on the answer sheet, at least the answers that involved b's or d's (a symptom of staying up for 24hrs the day before to cram). That made me lose about 20% of the points, not to mention the ones I really did get wrong.
So, when the professor tabulated my grade including the final, my grade went from an 81(B) to a 76.5. Even though he was looking at the mistakes I made and agreed that I had the correct answers circled on my test paper, he said he could only give me points for those that I marked right on the scan sheet, and that a 76.5 was too far off the mark to try to curve.

Could it be that I'm the only little chocolate child in the class? Hmmmmm......
The worst part about it is, I was taking this graduate level course just to be exempt from it when I apply for the graduate program next year, but because I made a C, which is unacceptable in graduate school, I probably won't be eligable for the program.
This is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I have been thrown off course and I don't know what to do.
Thanks for listening you guys.
