Question for Actives
I was at Albertson's yesterday and a friend posed a question.
Here's the scenario. Refering to our extended area-
Last year, out of 10 sororities O girls joined A and B and C, 1 joined D, 1 joined E and 1 joined F and 1 joined G.
2 joind H and
4 joined I
7 joined J.
Numbers are pretty accurate as far as we could recall.
C-The one girl has never become really involved and was wanting to return home- parents said no.
I-One was unhappy in a large system and transfered never made friends. The other 3 stick to themselves and have not expanded their horizopns.
J-3 are quiting, a 4th is debating.
J is a big legacy soro. The mother is afraid that because of the ones who quit, it may cause the actives to "think twice" about extending a bid to girls from here. J has often had more legacies go through than quota.
She also wondered if the others who had NMs that were not what they hoped, would be influenced against our area. I told her I had NO IDEA! Any opinions???
edited-Thought I would add-Quota runs 65-70.
